Forza Horizon 5 racks up more than 1 million players before official release

First announced by VGC over the course of the end of the week, the Forza Horizon 5's Hall of Fame leaderboard, which shows your ranking against other players with the game, was showing that more than 800,000 users across Xbox and PC were already tearing up the streets of Mexico. We've taken another glance at the leaderboard today and, at the time of writing, it stands at a whopping 1,110,404 players — a beautiful impressive figure considering the standard edition, which is included with Xbox Game Pass, doesn't launch until tomorrow (November ninth).

To get early access to FH5, what started on November fifth, the majority of these players would have expected to have purchased either the Premium Edition for $99/£85 or the Premium Add-Ons group for $45/£40. This means that Forza Horizon 5 has generated between $50 million and $110 million in this early access period alone.

Forza Horizon 5 has been gotten well by the two critics and fans alike. The game right now sits with a Metascore of 91, making it one of the highest-rated games of the year. In our Forza Horizon 5 audit, Luke gave the game top marks, praising its visuals, sense of variety, and its Accolades system.

Have you been playing Forza Horizon 5 in early access, or are you waiting for the Game Pass release tomorrow? Tell us in the comments beneath!
